We have written a new three year plan to tackle crime and disorder and drug and alcohol issues in the borough.
In this section you will be able to find out how the Partnership is performing boroughwide through the performance bulletin.
The RSCP performance bulletin document covers the range of crimes considered by the Government to be most closely matched to those captured by the British Crime Survey. These are known as the BCS Comparator Crimes and all Partnership across the country have a requirement to reduce these crimes by a given percentage by 2008.
In the borough of Rochdale, the target agreed with the Government is to achieve an overall reduction of 26% in BCS Comparator Crimes by March 2008.

The overall number of BCS crimes has reduced again this quarter, to 3550 from 3733. Accounting for seasonal factors, continuation of this performance would give the Partnership good prospects of achieving its’ 26% reduction target set in 2005. The Partnership’s significant progress over the past twelve months was recognised earlier this month in a letter to the Chair from Gail Porter, Home Office Regional Director.
